Tech. Sgt. Rodney Hattery, a weather forecaster from the 618th Tanker Airlift Control Center's Global Mobility Weather Operations Directorate (XOW), checks weather conditions in Haiti and the surrounding area, Jan. 16. The XOW directorate provides weather products, services and briefings for mission planning and execution phases managed by the 618th TACC for strategic airlift, air refueling and aeromedical evacuation crews operating worldwide. 618th TACC personnel have been working around-the-clock since Tuesday to support U.S. relief efforts in Haiti after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck the region.
