Vermont native earns 380th AEW 'Warrior of the Week'
Staff Sgt. Eric Lowery, Fuels Service Center accountant and controller with the 380th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron deployed from Dover Air Force Base, Del., was named the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing "Warrior of the Week" for the week of Dec. 30, 2009, to Jan. 5, 2010. In his deployed job, Sergeant Lowery is responsible for the delivery of fuel to all deployed and transient aircraft, with an average nine-minute response time ensuring the timely delivery of fuel so aircraft meet departure times. He's also responsible for the second largest fuel's account in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and processes approximately $1.25 million in fuels transaction every day.
