Airmen, Army take on joint MAFEX mission
A KC-135 with the Illinois Air National Guard performs an in-flight refuel on a Charleston AFB C-17 during the Mobility Air Forces Exercise Nov. 18. More than 40 mobility aircraft were planned for participation in the event and included 10 KC-135 tankers which were responsible for providing fuel to aircraft traveling to the Nevada desert from across the U.S. to participate in the exercise.
