KC-135 refuels Jordanian F-16s for 2009 Eager Tiger 10
A Royal Jordanian Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft fighter pilot flies in to connect to a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft on Oct. 19, 2009, over Jordan, along with other F-16 pilots from the 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, S.C., and Mwaffaq Salti Air Base in Azraq, Jordan. The air refueling was also being used as a training exercise on the safety and proper procedures for refueling while in flight. U.S. Airmen were in Jordan for the 2009 Eager Tiger 10, Falcon Air Meet, a friendly competition between the air forces of the U.S. and the Middle East, as well as other F-16 aircraft users from around the world.
