McConnell KC-135 supports 2009 Eager Tiger 10 in Jordan
A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., prepares to land at Mwaffaq Salti Air Base in Al Azraq, Jordan, on Oct. 17, 2009. The tanker accompanied six U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon jets from the 169th Fighter Wing, South Carolina Air National Guard. The unit took part in Falcon Air Meet 2009, a multinational F-16 competition. The meet was inspired by Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein and first organized in 2006. A main goal of the competition is the improvement of relationships between Jordan and partner nations and the promotion of stability in the region. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Tech. Sgt. Caycee Cook)
