BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- A 30th Airlift Squadron co-pilot trains as a member of the Air Force's first active associate unit. The unit activated July 1, 2006 at the Cheyenne Air National Guard Base and is due to deploy here in October to support Operation Iraqi Freedom.
