Military kids get a dose of wilderness
SPOKANE, Wash. – Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape instructor Airman 1st Class Daniel Foret speaks with children attending the Blue Green Summer Youth Camp here, held July 16 - 20. The children learned to make a shelter in the wilderness, read a compass, pack an animal and repel from rocks during the camp. The camp gives priority to children with a deployed parent, and is open to families of all services and components. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Melissa Still)
