Neighbor Day
FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – More than 40,000 people attended Spokane’s patriotic Neighbor Day celebration July 4 at Riverfront Park, which culminated with a 20-minute evening fireworks show over the park clock tower. Active-duty Air Force servicemembers participated in the all-day celebration with a KC-135 Stratotanker flyover, a military national anthem vocalist, comments from senior base leadership and booth volunteers.
