Coalition aircrew members from the U.S., Canada and Belgium meet with Airmen posing as local nationals on Aug. 18, 2009, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., as part of Joint Readiness Training Center Exercise 09-09. The meeting is irregular warfare training which is part of Green Flag Little Rock -- the base's name for their participation in the JRTC exercise. GFLR is designed to give aircrews their first five combat flights in a controlled environment and held in conjunction with the JRTC exercise based at Fort Polk, La., which is training 3,200 Soldiers “deployed” to an austere environment. GFLR provides training for the aircrews that perform airlift and airdrop missions, aeromedical evacuation and bare-base set up and operations for the JRTC exercise. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Capt.
