DAFB helps RAF transport C-130 wings
DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. -- A crew of Royal Air Force air frame technicians on temporary duty here use a crane to prepare a set of C-130 wings for airlift aboard an Air Force C-5 to the United Kingdom recently. The wings were airlifted Feb. 23 aboard a WrightPatterson Air Force Base, Ohio, C-5. The wings were purchased from the Royal Australian Air Force by the RAF to refurbish an operational C-130 in the UK. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Kevin Wallace)
