Dover Airman receives Purple Heart
DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. - Brig. Gen. Gary T. McCoy, Director of Logistics Readiness, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., presents Tech. Sgt. Randy Gardner, 436th Logistics Readiness Squadron general purpose mechanic, with a Purple Heart citation and medal for injuries he sustained at Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan.
