Volunteers play important role at Viking Challenge
Maj. Jay Johnson, 15th Air Mobility Operations Squadron and Phoenix Mobility intern, and Staff Sgt. Dennis Edwards, 570th Global Mobility Squadron, tally team information and money earned through raffle ticket sales the day of the event. Nearly 60 volunteers in bright gold t-shirts supported Viking Challenge and helped ensure the event ran smoothly. Viking Challenge, an annual 12-hour relay event, is the Travis Fisher House’s largest fundraiser each year. (U.S. Air Force photo/1st Lt. Nicole Langley)
