Air power: McGuire showcases American Airmen, Air Force assets
Army Staff Sgt. Montrell Kea, 82nd Airborne Division jumpmaster, Fort Bragg, N.C., watches as Staff Sgt. Michael Pinheiro jumps out of a C-17 Globemaster III to start off the 2008 McGuire Air Expo held May 31 and June 1. Other performances included the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, F-15 E Strike Eagle Demonstration, Matt Chapman and the Geico Skytypers. McGuire’s own KC-10, C-17 and KC-135 were also on display for the 170,000 guests. The 2008 McGuire Air Expo culminated the events of Air Force Week in Philadelphia held May 26-June 2.
