An Air Force KC-135E Stratotanker is recieved by 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., in April 2009. The 50-year-old aircraft was delivered to the group for long-term storage at the 2,600-acre facility. The 309th AMARG is a one-of-a-kind specialized facility within the Air Force Materiel Command's 309th Maintenance Wing at Hill AFB, Utah. The 309th AMARG provides critical aerospace maintenance and regeneration capabilities for joint and allied/Coalition warfighters in support of global operations and agile combat support for a wide range of military operations.
