Remembering Vets of Chosin
Marines from Marine Corps Barracks, Washington, D.C., took second place in the 436th Security Forces Squadron-sponsored 9th Annual Ruck March here Feb. 2. The Marines carried the ‘eagle, globe and anchors,’ that belonged to the parents of Joan M. Cote, USO Delaware director. Also, they carried a pair of her mother’s rosaries during the march. Ms. Cote’s parents were both former Marines and both Korean War veterans, the Marines marched in their honor. (Courtesy photo)
