BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Airman 1st Class Richard Garner, 721st Air Mobility Maintenance Group Detachment 5 crew chief, cuts away an epoxy material used as a final seal on a C-17 nose landing gear assembly here, Feb. 8. Before re-installing the gear, all epoxy and hydraulic fluid must be removed for a perfect fit onto the aircraft.
