MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Tara Lloyd, wife of 2nd Lt. Anson Lloyd, 22nd Medical Support Squadron; Airman 1st Class Ruth Rogers, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron; and Apple Holder, wife of Staff Sgt. Andrew Holder, 22nd Maintenance Squadron, were named McConnell’s AMC Icon winners at the Robert J. Dole Community Center, Aug. 1. Airman Rogers who placed third will represent McConnell at the Scott Air Force Base competition, Oct. 23. Only servicemembers are allowed to advance to the MAJCOM competition because the winner there will receive a special audition/interview opportunity with the Air Force Tops in Blue organization.
