Seven band members comprising The Blue Yonders, the newest ensemble of the USAF Band of the Golden West stationed at Travis AFB, CA, entertain the audience with their unique blend of Irish folk-rock and pop favorites on July 4, 2013. The Blue Yonders, comprised of seven active duty AF band members sporting authentic kilts and playing traditional instruments, specialize in Irish folk-rock as well as pop music favorites. The group kicked off a full day of live performances for the local community, which took place at the Berkeley, CA Marina in honor of our nation’s Independence Day.
