Fairchild’s AMC Icon winner headed for Scott

The AMC Icon program is loosely based around the hit TV program, American Idol, and allows local contestants to compete for $1,000 in cash prizes. The top active duty Air Force vocalist will then compete for $2,000 in cash prizes at the command level. Brown earned first place in Fairchild Air Force Base’s competition winning $500 and a ticket to Scott Air Force Base, Ill., for the Command Finals.
