C-17 aircrew helps send message home for holidays
Marvin Scott, senior correspondent at Pix 11 in New York City, interviews service members during a live broadcast from Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Dec. 17, 2013. Scott, along with David Kimmel, a photojournalist at Pix 11, were embedded with the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing to spread holiday cheer to New York service members who are deployed during the holiday season. The two-man team traveled from Joint Base Andrews, Washington, D.C., aboard a C-17 Globemaster III assigned to the Mississippi Air National Guard.
