Maj. Gen. Rick Martin, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center commander, presents Staff Sgt. Patrick Roberts, 43d Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, with his coin during his tour of 43d Airlift Group units Sep 16. Sergeant Roberts meticulously coordinated nine Air Mobility Command aeromedical evacuation channel missions in Pacific Command’s area of responsibility, including the scheduling of 32 aircrew members, resulting in the safe airlift of 140 patients to definitive care at multiple United States and overseas medical treatment facilities. General Martin visited Pope Army Airfield, N.C. to see first-hand how the 43d Airlift Group Airmen support the Global Response Force mission. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Marvin Krause)
