Douglas Ferguson, Vietnam POW/MIA Airman, lead Team McChord Airmen from the front Sept. 17, 2014, before the 2nd Annual POW/MIA 24-hour run at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. The first lap of the run was dedicated to Ferguson, who was finally brought home and laid to rest in May after his F-4D Phantom aircraft was shot down in Laos in 1969 during the Vietnam War.
