Active Duty and reservist EOD Airmen learn lifesaving skills

Explosive Ordnance Airmen check on their patients simulated sucking chest wound while receiving enemy fire during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care training exercise here Dec. 4, 2014. The Airmen were practicing tactical field care, one of the three parts of TCCC. From December 1-3, 12 Airmen from the 375th Air Mobility Wing and 932nd Airlift Wing Explosive Ordnance flights learned TCCC or lifesaving procedures. On December 4, three teams of four, comprised of a medic and an assistant medic, a team leader and one security member, were required to use all the skills they learned from the past four days of training in a real care under fire scenario.
