Retired Gen. Art Lichte, former Air Mobility Command commander and Airlift/Tanker Association Chairman, and retired Gen. Ronald R. Fogleman stand next to the newly unveiled bust of Fogleman following a ceremony recognizing him as the 23rd inductee into the Airlift/Tanker Association's Hall of Fame Oct. 9, 2014, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Fogleman served for 34 years, including serving as the Air Force Chief of Staff, before retiring in 1997. He was recognized during his career by receiving the Silver Star, two Distinguished Flying Crosses and received a Purple Heart for injuries he received while ejecting from his crippled aircraft.
