Airlift/Tanker Association's Hall of Fame

Former Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Ronald R. Fogleman and his wife, Miss Jane, view the newly unveiled inductee into the Airlift/Tanker Association's Hall of Fame during a bronze bust dedication Oct. 9, 2014, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Fogleman served as the Air Force Chief of Staff, U.S. Transportation Command, and Commander, Air Mobility Command, when it was a dual-hatted position. Fogleman also flew 315 combat missions and acquired more than 800 combat hours as an F-100 Forward Air Controller and F-4E pilot. His was recognized with the award of the Silver Star, two Distinguished Flying Crosses and received the Purple Heart for injuries he received while ejecting from his crippled aircraft.
