Air Force Surgeon General visits Travis
Lt. Gen. (Dr.) Thomas Travis, Air Force Surgeon General, visited the David Grant USAF Medical Center's Hyperbaric Medicine Department medical team as part of a tour Jan. 15 with the 60th Medical Group. Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment is a medical treatment in which patients inhale intermittent 100 percent oxygen through hoods or masks in chambers pressurized to greater than one atmosphere absolute.
