Senior Airman Jeffrey Allen

A U.S. Army Humvee is unloaded from a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules at the airport in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dec. 18, 1995. The Humvee was used to support the NATO Enabling Force during Operation JOINT ENDEAVOR. The strategic airflow for Operation JOINT ENDEAVOR began as the international effort to implement the Dayton Peace Accords in Bosnia and other states of the former Yugoslavia. Enabling forces moved into the Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia theaters of operation to prepare entry points for the main Implementation Force. The Humvee belonged to the 3rd Battalion, 10th Special Forces, Fort Carson, Colo. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Jeffrey Allen).
