Citadel Laferrière
Staff Sgt. Iram Edmond 92nd Logistics Readiness Squadron NCO in charge of inventory management visits the Citadel Laferrière during a mission trip with his father, March 15, 2018 in Nord, Haiti. The Citadel is located on top of the Bonnet a L'Eveque mountain. The mountaintop fortress has become iconic in Haiti. The Citadel was built by Henri Christophe, a key leader during the Haitian slave rebellion, after Haiti gained independence from France during the beginning of the 19th century.(Courtesy photo)
