Heroes return home: Repatriation of WWII remains
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Joe Chamberlain, 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron flying crew chief, ensures the transfer cases are secure onto a C-17 Globemaster III for the repatriation of 26 WWII human remains Sept. 13, 2018, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Aircrew from Joint Base Charleston, S.C. was tasked to deliver the remains due to its rapid mobility capabilities.
