9th AS Pelicans fly southwest for joint training
Airmen from the 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron load aircraft ground equipment onto a Dover Air Force Base C-5M Super Galaxy during a Major Command Service Tail Trainer, at Holloman AFB, New Mexico, June 8, 2021. Loadmasters from the 9th Airlift Squadron coordinated cargo with Airmen from Air Education and Training Command’s 49th Wing and Air Force Materiel Command’s 635th Materiel Maintenance Group to complete the 10-day MSTT. Over the course of the training, Airmen loaded and unloaded 320,085 pounds of cargo, including palletized cargo, AGE, a fuel truck and a K-loader.
