Travis Airman finds creative solution to aging equipment

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Kyle Sunderman, 60th Aerial Port Squadron ramp services, stands in a KC-10 Extender at Travis Air Force Base, California, July 14, 2023. Sunderman initiated the idea of repurposing KC-10 Extender omni-rollers and be used in a 60k Tunner. The first 60K Tunner, an aircraft cargo loader, with repurposed KC-10 omni-rollers took to the flightline on Oct. 30, 2023. The test was deemed a success by the 60th APS, and the omni-rollers proved capable of handling various cargo sizes and weights.  (U.S. Air Force photo by Chustine Minoda)
