U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Joshua Beck, 62d Maintenance Squadron aircraft structural maintenance section chief, runs water jugs back to his team during the Julius A. Kolb Airman Leadership School Commandant’s Crucible at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, April 7, 2026. The initial event of the crucible, the “Water Jug Relay”, had teams running water jugs down to the end of the fitness pad at the McChord track, conducting 10 squats, and running back to their team, with the two teams who completed the most relays gaining an advantage in the next event.
