Dover Airmen restore pride through C-5M refurbishment
A worn crew seat is displayed inside the flight deck area of a C-5M Super Galaxy at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, May 29, 2026. The aircraft’s interior showed signs of routine operational use, including torn seat coverings and aged crew equipment. The refurbishment project gives maintainers an opportunity to restore interior spaces during the aircraft’s scheduled Major ISO inspection. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Keira Rossman)
