11/13/2012 - SPOKANE, Wash. -- Team Fairchild members visited various locations around the Spokane, Wash., community Nov. 9-12 interacting and honoring veterans everywhere they went.
Airmen visited schools around the region, and met with veterans at the Elks Lodge, the Ft. Wright Cemetery, Spokane Arena and Felts Field.
Veterans Day is an official United States holiday which honors those who have and do serve in the armed forces. It's a federal holiday observed November 11 and also marks the anniversary of the end of World War I.
