    Band of Mid-America brings music to our schools

    The Band of Mid-America’s rock band, Starlifter, arrived with music in their hearts, in mid-March when they took to Detroit as part of their “Music in our Schools” initiative in hopes of inspiring a future generation of Airmen.

    AMC bands build bridges with STEM

    SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE — Air Mobility Command bands are serving a leading role in education outreach efforts for the Air Force. Leveraging the 33rd annual Music in Our Schools Month, Air Mobility Command bands, assigned to Scott AFB, Ill. and Travis AFB, Calif., will perform in 47 different schools across six states in the month of March.
