Patrick Miller, 628th Medical Group chief of preventative dentistry, dental hygienist, sits in an exam room at the Deily Dental Clinic on Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, Aug. 1. Miller is the recipient of the 2016 Dental Civilian of the Year award. Miller received the award for his work as the director of an eight-chair clinic where he and his team manage care for approximately 3,600 patients.
