Partnership enables JB Charleston sealift relief efforts to Puerto Rico
A longshoreman secures a 54-foot trailer to the USNS Brittin (T-AKR-305) Oct. 28, 2017, at Joint Base Charleston - Weapons Station, S.C. While ported in Charleston, the USNS Brittin was loaded with 855 pieces of equipment for the first shipment of cargo from JB Charleston to Puerto Rico. makes its way through the Atlantic Ocean, FEMA’s cargo receiving efforts continue at the installation support base here in preparation for future sealifts.
