McConnell Airman helps locate Vietnam War MIAs
Lao workers assist U.S. service members in January 2017, in Laos, by lining up with buckets to move dirt to screening stations, where they examined it to locate any belongings and remains of Airmen missing in action since the Vietnam War. The U.S. government supplemented the locals’ income by paying them to assist with the digs. (Courtesy photo)
