A Selfie with a Couple Rosies
A U.S. Air Force Airman takes a selfie with Agnes Moore, left, and Kay Morrison, center, after a ‘Rosie the Riveter’ presentation June 25, 2019, at Travis Air Force Base, California. Moore and Morrison are two of the many women known as “Rosie” as they worked as welders in the Richmond, California, Kaiser Shipyard during World War II. During a visit to Travis AFB, the duo joined two other Rosies and met with 60th Air Mobility Wing leadership, had lunch with Airmen and shared their experiences. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
