  • KC-46 performs first operational long-endurance flight

    MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan.—Two KC-46A Pegasus air refueling aircraft took off on a long endurance flight as part of a Bomber Task Force mission, Dec. 17-18, in the Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility in support of long-range precision strike training.

  • KC-46A flies 36-hour, record-breaking endurance mission

    A KC-46A Pegasus from the 157th Air Refueling Wing at Pease Air National Guard Base, New Hampshire, flew a 36-hour non-stop endurance mission covering 16,000 miles, Nov. 16-17, Air Mobility Command’s longest mission to date.

    Gen. Mike Minihan, commander of Air Mobility Command, approved a seventh Interim Capability Release mission set for the KC-46A Pegasus May 31, 2022, increasing the aircraft’s operational capability to support 97 percent of the daily Joint Force air refueling demands.

    Dover Air Force Base held the 2022 Thunder Over Dover Airshow and Open House, opening the base to host more than 75,000 members of the community May 21-22, 2022.The theme of this year’s event was “Reunite” and coincided with Armed Forces Day, the Air Force’s 75th Anniversary and featured
