    Mae Krier is an original Rosie the Riveter. Her hard work and dedication during World War II helped save the world and led her to many places, the most recent being the 459th Air Refueling Wing. “It’s a great day to be at the 459th Air Refueling Wing,” Krier said. “I’m excited to share my story with the women and men here, and to see the tanker.”
  • 317th AW prepares for tomorrow’s fight

    To prepare for tomorrow, the 317th Airlift Wing conducted a full spectrum readiness sortie Oct. 19 and 20, 2017 at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. During the full spectrum readiness sortie, aircrew, maintenance and support personnel worked together to conduct a local training sortie in a simulated high-threat environment.
