  • Loadmasters Vital to Tactical Air Drop Mission

    Members of the 357th Airlift Squadron took part in a few tactical air drops as part of a monthly tactical flying week that happened to take place during a wing-wide exercise named Auburn Tide here in late March. The exercise is intended to demonstrate the 908th Airlift Wing’s pre-deployment readiness while sharpening the skills of 908th Airmen in the weeks leading up to the largest deployment in the wing’s history.
  • Fairchild MDG Airmen support FEMA vaccine center in COVID-19 mitigation effort

    ST. PAUL, Minn.-- Approximately 1.5 million people worldwide have tested positive for COVID-19, making vaccination efforts more crucial than ever. A team of approximately 140 Airmen from 24 bases spread throughout the U.S., including Fairchild Air Force Base, have come together in St. Paul to help support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in an effort to vaccinate Americans against COVID-19. Airmen from the 92nd Medical Group began their support in April at the St. Paul Vaccination Center (CVC), where around 3,000 vaccinations are distributed daily.
