A C-17 Globemaster lll delivers Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles, or MRAPS, to Bagram Airfield Aug.4. Boeing engineers adjust P-177's ramp toes, the extensions at the back of the rear cargo door that allow trucks and tanks to easily drive on and off the aircraft. P-177, which was assembled at the Boeing Long Beach plant in California, was the 177th C-17 Globemaster III delivered to the U.S. Air Force.
