HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Evacuees from Wake Island arrive at Hickam Air Force Base, Aug. 28. Two C-17s from the 15th Airlift Wing evacuated all 188 people from the atoll in advance of Super Typhoon Ioke which is forecasted to hit Aug. 30. Pakistan earthquake relief

U.S. Army Soldiers from Fort Sill, Okla., and U.S. Air Force loadmasters from of McCord Air Force Base, Wash., work together to unload disassembled CH-47D helicopter parts from a C-17 Globemaster III at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Oct. 21, 2005.
