We
are located at Joint Base Charleston in North Charleston, S.C. Our primary destinations for Space A
Travel - in terms of numbers of passengers - are Ramstein Air Base,
Germany and Joint Base Andrews, MD. We periodically have flights all
throughout the world, but travelers are reminded flights are mission-driven and
frequency of flights / destinations do change.

Passenger
Service Counters are open for check-in 6 hrs. prior to departure. Duty
passengers must be in line NO LATER THAN (NLT) **3 hrs. 20
mins** prior to scheduled departure. Those passengers who arrive after NLT
time will be re-directed to Customer Service for further re-booking information
or as PCS orders instruct.

Standby & Space Available Passengers
Roll
calls are conducted at the AMC ticket counter 2 hrs. & 20 mins prior to
aircraft departure. It is recommended that passengers arrive 1hr prior to roll
call time to ensure travel document accuracy.
Passengers
are reminded that baggage limitations are set for two bags per individual,
limited to 70 pounds maximum weight per bag and not to exceed the dimensions of
62 linear inches. Passengers may carry up to one carry-on bag, and it must be
able to fit under any aircraft's seat.
Per
DODI 4515.13
There is no guarantee of transportation and
reservations will not be accepted or made for any space-available traveler. The
DoD is not obligated to continue an individual's travel or return the
individual to the point of origin or any other point. Travelers should have
sufficient personal funds to pay for commercial transportation, lodging, and
other expenses if space-available transportation is not available. All
associated expenses are the responsibility of the traveler.
Uniformed service member's dependents under the age of
14 must travel with the sponsor or eligible parent and possess a Federal-,
State-, local-, or tribal government-issued identification IAW DoDI 4515.13. An
example of an applicable form of Federal identification includes valid and
current passport or a raised birth certificate from the city, county,
state, etc. This does not include a hospital certificate of birth.
U.S.
USID sponsor will possess valid documentation showing proof of sponsorship of
dependents for members under the age of
14 and traveling with the sponsor. Proof of sponsorship can be
obtained through the installation's Military Personnel Office or by accessing
the following website: https://milconnect.dmdc.osd.mil/milconnect/.
Documentation must provide dependent's DoD identification and privilege number.
